The funeral was held Feb 27th. Courtney and Rod were able to come for a week for her funeral so a cheerful note was there visit. With funeral over we reorganized and headed back to Guatemala mid March where we spent about 6 weeks preparing Tundra for sale.

In early October we took our camper on our yearly colour tour north. We departed in the afternoon for Tobermory and camped overnight in the ferry parking lot. We awoke in the morning to board with no reservations. It was a full ferry as it was the second last run of the season. From Manitoulin Island we crossed over to the mainland at Little Current and onto Sudbury and stayed near here at a campsite overnight. Next day we crossed over Lake Nippissing  and southward home. The fall colours were spectacular.

December 13th 2016 sees us off to  BC for Xmas. Fortunately we came prepared for the unusually cold weather for the Vancouver area. A delay at the Sarnia Airport caused a missed connection in Toronto. As a result we arrived in Vancouver in the middle of the night. Courtney was there to greet us in her pajamas and transported us home in Greg's truck with a full load. Next day we attended a school Christmas concert.
