Since mothers
health was deteriorating around Christmas time we delayed
our trip to Tundra and took the time to under go some indoor
home projects. These tasks primarily involved replacing the
carpet in two of our bedrooms with laminate flooring.

In early October we took our camper on our yearly
colour tour north. We departed in the afternoon for
Tobermory and camped overnight in the ferry parking lot. We
awoke in the morning to board with no reservations. It was a
full ferry as it was the second last run of the season. From
Manitoulin Island we crossed over to the mainland at Little
Current and onto Sudbury and stayed near here at a campsite
overnight. Next day we crossed over Lake Nippissing
and southward home. The fall colours were spectacular.
